Leicester City have chosen to wait until January to register Adrien Silva.
Silva is now training with Leicester after his move from Sporting CP, but cannot be registered after completing his move 14 seconds after the summer transfer deadline fell.
Leicester had intended to appeal to CAS to fix the current stalemate.
However, the Foxes were told FIFA would not support this process, forcing the club to reluctantly accept the world governing body's original decision, meaning the player won't be registered until January.
