Fuchs sparked MLS rumours this week after declaring he would be leaving Leicester for the US when his current deal expires in 2018.
But he told ESPN: "When I stop, I have the dream of becoming a football kicker in the NFL, even now I can kick accurately 60-65 yards.
"Maybe some team might think to test a player, who knows, certainly if one does not dream something then one can never reach it.
"I'm already thinking about what will happen in the future. After hanging up the boots I'll be moving to New York, where my family lives, and I will try for a chance in American football. I'm not made to sit on a couch."
