Leicester City fullback Christian Fuchs admits the atmosphere has turned around since the change of manager.

City have won four consecutive games under Craig Shakespeare and defender Fuchs said the confidence is starting to flow through the team again.

"It feels good," said Fuchs to the Leicester Mercury.

"Obviously we knew that after such an intense week we knew not everything was going to be beautiful, but we got the three points.

"We had dig in at the end but that is fine. That is what we can do anyway.

"It is good also to have Kasper Schmeichel in the goal. That is what he is here for but he did an outstanding job. He has been outstanding and we are happy for that.

"But you could see, especially in the first half, that we are in good shape and playing well.

"We are happy and confident now in our own performances and our own strength.

"It was a great win. It wasn't necessarily a beautiful win, it was a tough win, but it was very important. The two early goals helped a lot but it felt good. We have four wins in two weeks and that isn't bad."
