Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson does not care how his team records the points required to avoid relegation.
The Foxes have climbed out of the drop zone with four wins from their past four outings and now have five more matches to try and beat the drop.
On Wednesday, Leicester host champions-elect Chelsea at King Power Stadium and Pearson is after a positive result from his players in order to repay the faith shown by the fans throughout a very difficult campaign thus far.
"Results are more important than performances. It's been very satisfying to get four wins and it gives us a realistic chance," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"The only thing that matters is that we're out on the bottom three after 38 games. To do that we have to remain focused.
"There is still a lot of football to be played. Every game now has something riding on it. There's lots left to do. We want to try to win this next game. It will be hard against Chelsea but there's no reason not to look at it positively.
"Throughout the season our fans have remained positive, but in the last few games in particular, they have inspired us."
