Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is interested in Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given.
The Mirror says Eriksson wants to land Given or David James in January.
Although the former England coach has taken Chris Kirkland on loan from Wigan, his injury problems have left the Leicester boss with doubts.
Leicester face a problem with James over relocation as he lives at the West Country family home and commutes to Bristol daily.
