Leicester City are believed to be keen on Chelsea's Oriol Romeu.

According to the Daily Mail, Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri is showing considerable interest in defensive midfielder Romeu who is not expected to feature for Jose Mourinho in 2015/16.

The 23-year-old Spaniard has spent the past two seasons away from Stamford Bridge with Valencia and Stuttgart respectively and could yet go out on another temporary stint as the Foxes continue to look for a holding midfielder.

It is believed that the potential loan deal would hold an option for a permanent contract if Leicester avoid relegation next season.
