Leicester have made contact with Sevilla over a deal for the club's captain, Vicente Iborra.

According to Sky Sports, Foxes manager Craig Shakespeare was impressed by the midfielder when Leicester faced off against Sevilla in the Champions League in March.

Reports in Spain suggest that a figure of around £12.5m should be enough to secure the 29-year old.

Iborra, who scored seven goals in La Liga last season, is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
