Leicester City defender Michael Morrison has extended his stay at Walkers Stadium.

The 21-year old has penned a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2012.

Despite appearing just three times for the Foxes this term, manager Nigel Pearson holds Morrison in high regard and Leicester fans will be happy to see him stay after holding trials with Chelsea and Newcastle before signing in July 2008 from Cambridge United.
