Leicester City and Hull City are still haggling over a compo fee for manager Nigel Pearson.
The Daily Star says Hull are demanding £2m compensation to let their manager return to the club he left 16 months ago.
But Leicester's Thai owners will only stump up £1m.
That leaves Pearson, 48, in limbo as the two clubs scrap it out.
