Leicester City are lining up a major bid for Caen midfielder N'Golo Kante.

The Sun says Leicester are preparing a £8 million offer for French midfielder Kante.
City are said to have approached the 24-year-old's club Caen and have tabled the offer to bring the combative midfielder to the King Power Stadium, but they face competition from Marseille.
City are certainly looking to bolster their midfield this summer as there remains uncertainty over whether Esteban Cambiasso will re-sign and they will be without Matty James until Christmas at least after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the victory over Southampton in May.
Arsenal, Newcastle United and Southampton were also linked with Kante, who is likened to Lassana Diarra and Claude Makelele in style.
