Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey is on the brink of a cut-price £500,000 return to Leicester City.
Leicester want Heskey, 33, to spearhead their push for Premier League status after a seven-year gap.
Foxes chief Sven Goran Eriksson regularly selected Heskey during his time in charge of England.
Heskey left Leicester to join Liverpool for £11m in 2000, before moving on to Birmingham, Wigan and now Villa.
