Leicester compete with Leeds for Man City midfielder Johnson

Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is interested in Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson.

Eriksson has already raided his former club to take City defender Ben Mee on-loan and is seeking a similar deal for Johnson.

Johnson, 22, suffered a serious knee injury a year ago and only started playing again in October but he's found himself pushed into the shadows by the glut of stars fighting for first-team recognition at Eastlands.

Former City chief Eriksson will face competition from Leeds to sign the midfielder on loan.
