Leicester City club captain Stephen Clemence has announced his retirement from professional football. The midfielder has been struggling with a long-running heel problem and has decided to call it quits.
The 32-year-old joined the club from Birmingham in July 2007, but has been restricted to just 34 appearances since then.
The son of former England goalkeeper Ray Clemence, he hangs up his boots after 13 years at the top of his profession.
