Leicester City are targeting Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi.

Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri is in the market for a new centre-half next month as he prepares for a busy second-half of the season.

TMW says his search has led him to Acerbi, who has been watched regularly by Leicester scouts in recent games.

Leicester hope to do business with Sassuolo for around €8 million.

Acerbi, should Sassuolo make him available, could also attract serious interest from Inter Milan.
