Leicester City lodge bid for highly sought after Hull defender Maguire

Harry Maguire has been the subject of a £17m bid from Leicester City, according to The Sun.

The Hull City defender caught the eye of a host of Premier League clubs after an impressive 36 appearances for the Tigers last season

With Robert Huth and Wes Morgan both beyond the age of thirty, Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare wants to inject some young legs in the heart of his defence and views Maguire as the ideal defender.

Hull look to set make a considerable profit on the 24-year old after purchasing him for just £2.5m from Sheffield United in 2015.
