Leicester chief Aiyawatt: We'll maintain club traditions

Leicester City vice-chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha says the board is determined to maintain the club's traditions.

The success of Claudio Ranieri's side has also helped Leicester be named the greatest sporting city in the UK, following a study by online sports broadcaster ESPN and the University of Bath.

"Following the amazing post-season reaction we experienced in Leicester and Thailand, along with the significant interest in the United States during the International Champions Cup this summer, the 2016/17 season has great potential for Leicester City's growth, both domestically and internationally," said the City vice-chairman.

"Our hardcore established fan base, however, can be reassured that, while the wider development and growth of the club is an important part of our vision, we will never compromise our core principles of being a family football club and a proud representative of this city."
