Leicester Champions League exit good for Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal

Leicester City's recent exit from the Champions League is good news for the quartet of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal, as reported by The Sun.

Leicester's dream run in Europe's elite club competition came to an end on Tuesday night after they suffered a 2-1 aggregate loss to Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals but the Foxes can be very proud of their efforts in the competition.

While the whole of England would have been rooting for Leicester against Atletico, their exit from the Champions League actually comes as a boost for the likes of Liverpool, City, United and Arsenal as they are all competing for a top four finish in the Premier League.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur seem assured of a place in the Champions League but if Leicester would have won the competition and United went on to win the Europa League, fourth spot would not mean qualification for the Champions League, so the Foxes' exit certainly comes as a relief for the aforementioned four teams.
