Leicester City are joining the battle for Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome.
The Mirror says Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson is making a £4million-plus bid to bring Jerome to his big-spending club.
Jerome can leave Birmingham following their relegation from the Premier League and is hoping for a return to top-flight football, with Stoke City, Fulham and Bolton Wanderers interested in him.
However, ambitious Leicester are offering top contracts to players - as well as huge fees - and want to try to talk Jerome into joining their push for promotion back to the Premier League.
