Leicester, Celtic great Lennon slams 'weak' Bolton

Bolton boss Neil Lennon has hit out at his side following Tuesday night's 1-0 loss at Ipswich Town.

The Trotters had the better of the chances at Portman Road but were down by Jay Tabb's 79th-minute winner which saw them remain 10 points above the Championship relegation zone.

Former Celtic manager and Leicester City midfielder Lennon slammed the mental strength of some of his players and suggested that perhaps there will be some personnel changes at the Macron Stadium this summer.

"We should have been home and hosed by half time, but that is endemic of our season away from home," he said of his 16th-placed side.

"You can't miss gilt-edged chances like we did against a good side like Ipswich.

"The league table doesn't lie but a club like this shouldn't be where it is.

"Some of the senior players have a weak mentality but I can't do anything about that until the end of the season when we will still be hopefully in the Championship."
