Leicester City captain Wes Morgan says the locker room remains hopeful of Riyad Mahrez staying.

The Algeria winger is the subject of intense interest from Roma, but Morgan insists none of his teammates are thinking that far.

He stated: "We cannot think about what's going to happen or where it can go, we all train together and I must say that his behavior has always been exceptional.

"He's not angry or disturbed or unconfirmed, he comes in and trains hard, like everyone else.

"It happens that players come and go: it's part of the game. (N'Golo) Kanté, for example, went away and we wish him the best. We will all want Riyad to stay, but in football we never know."
