Leicester City captain Wes Morgan is delighted Christian Fuchs has extended his contract.
Fuchs had stated when he joined City in the summer of 2015 that he had signed his last contract in Europe and would move to Manhattan, New York, to be with his family, but he has now decided to commit the next three years to City.
"He is a very unique character, always trying to joke about," said Morgan to the Leicester Mercury.
"He is fantastic in the dressing room and all round.
"I am delighted to see him extend his future with Leicester and if he can chip in with more goals like that everyone will be happy.
"He does a lot of off the pitch work and he has his academy in America. He is always doing public and media stuff so that is what he is all about. He is a great character."
