David Nugent is on the brink of signing new terms with Leicester City.

The Leicester Mercury says talks between the striker's representatives and City have been described as "on-going" for several weeks.

However, there has been a breakthrough after positive talks in the past few days and Nugent is now expected to sign a new deal.
