Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare has expressed his pleasure at his side's attitude in the early stages of the pre-season.
The Foxes defeated West Bromwich Albion on penalties on Wednesday. They now advance to the final of the Premier League Asia Trophy where they will face Liverpool.
Reflecting on the result, the City boss said: "It's our first pre-season game so I'm looking at it purely from a fitness point of view and trying to get some minutes into them.
"So, in terms of that and the opposition, I'm really pleased for a first game that we managed to get 45 minutes of football into nearly everyone."
"The application and the desire has been excellent.
"Today was all about trying to get some fitness levels in them.
"It's always difficult because of the humidity, we'll look at the physical stats, but I'm very, very pleased with their overall attitude."
