Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare is frustrated not being allowed to play their loan players this week.

Matty James, Tom Lawrence and Harvey Barnes have all returned from successful loan spells in the Football League.

"They are not eligible which really frustrates me in a way because someone like Harvey Barnes, who has done really well out on loan to get experience, grasped it with both hands, I would love to see him in some of the games, but we can't play him," said Shakespeare.

"We can play him in the under-23s but not the first team. It is a rule that needs looking at."
