Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri admits he may hold back Molla Wague.
Leicester were determined to add a quality centre-back in the January window to provide competition for Wes Morgan and Robert Huth but were thwarted in pursuits of their primary targets and instead recruited Wague on loan from Udinese.
"I want to see. We have brought this guy on loan, the player, then I will watch him much better, then he can help us," said Ranieri. "I am sure but sometimes it depends on the character of the player. In a week maybe he can understand the Premier League, maybe there are players who need a little more time.
"He has very good potential. I hope he can help us. When you arrive in the window with a target it is not easy. It is not easy. Then we work so well. I am satisfied."
