Leicester boss Ranieri happy counting on Matty James

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is delighted to count on fit-again Matty James.

The 25-year-old has returned to full training this week after overcoming a serious of setbacks following surgery to repair a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in the home clash with Southampton in April, 2015.

"When I watched the Premier League and watched Leicester I thought Matty was a very good player," said Ranieri.

"He was a very tactical player with good skill who reads the match very well and for me he was one of my midfielders.

"But he was injured and now I am very happy to see him for one week training without pain.

"Maybe he is a very good new player for a new season."
