Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has thanked the Chelsea fans for giving him a warm welcome at Stamford Bridge upon his return on the weekend.
After nearly a decade, Ranieri made his first return to The Bridge for Leicester's encounter against Chelsea on Sunday and the Italian was welcomed with rapturous applause from both sets of fans inside the stadium.
Ranieri was left touched by the gesture and has gone on to thank the Chelsea supporters for handing him such an applause in the wake of his Premier League triumph with the Foxes.
"It was a warm welcome and I want to thank all Chelsea fans but also our fans too, who are fantastic for us," he said after the 1-1 draw.
"It was fantastic. I think it was one of my best days today."
