Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has given his backing to midfielder Danny Drinkwater to make Roy Hodgson's England squad for the Euro Championships this summer.
The 24-year-old has started 24 league games for the Foxes this season and has been one of the driving forces behind their meteoric rise to the summit of the Premier League.
"Drinky is a very good player. He's outstanding going box to box and he also defends very well. Everything he does, he does well," said Ranieri.
"He is a very good midfielder and if Roy needs him, then I would say he is ready."
