Demarai Gray has penned new terms with Leicester City.

Foxes boss Claude Puel is delighted with Gray's commitment, likening the winger to Chelsea star Eden Hazard. Puel worked with Hazard at Lille.

Gray has penned a new four-year contract.

"(Hazard) was unique," Puel told reporters. "Demarai is the same, he can keep the quickness a long time with the ball."

"He's good with the ball and good without the ball... a good player with good penetration, quality and he can make a difference.

"Now it's important to confirm and to stay at this level is the most important thing but the most difficult.

"He is technical and can play with good relationships with team mates. (It is) a good opportunity and we will see if he can continue to perform."

Meanwhile, Gray is delighted with his new deal.

Speaking to LCFC TV, he said: “I'm very happy. Now I just want to kick on and keep doing what I'm doing. I want to be starting games and, for me to be doing that, I have to work hard in training.

“As a whole, we're a good group and we have a good dressing room. Now I want to get my head down and keep kicking on for the team.

“For me personally, it's now about developing as a player and the rest will take care of itself."
