Leicester City boss Claude Puel feels the result tonight at Manchester United will be a "lottery".
The eyes of the footballing world will be on Old Trafford on Friday as the Foxes aim to start their 2018/19 season.
Puel said: “My feeling about the squad is good in this moment because with all the difficulties we've had, I feel a good mentality in the team - now we have to build something together.
“In the first game, I know it's a bit of a lottery, but I want to see a team with desire on the pitch, a togetherness and solidarity to compensate for these things."
Puel also took the opportunity to outline his overall vision for the upcoming campaign, one he hopes will be remembered for expressive, entertaining football at King Power Stadium.
“Step-by-step we can build something together and, with a good understanding, I think with the new additions to the squad, it gives strength to the squad.
“It was important to take players with good attributes for me, [players who are] comfortable with the ball, and [possess] good quality - technical players with good spirit.
“I'm happy about the quality in the squad and I hope we can put all these things in place on the pitch.
"[We want to be] a team playing forward with quality and with the desire with understanding between themselves to develop good football."
