Leicester City boss Claude Puel insists Kelechi Iheanacho is staying.

The Nigerian cost Leicester £25million in August from Manchester City and is one of the club's top earners.

Puel said: "He will stay with us. Iheanacho is a young player who signed this season with us.

"We have to develop him. I hope he can have more game-time in the second part of the season.

"He arrived in a good team with competition and he needs to continue to work and improve.

"He will take the time to improve and to work."
