Leicester City boss Claude Puel has made it clear he doesn't want to see Riyad Mahrez sold.

After pushing to leave last summer, Mahrez has since stated he is settled at the Foxes and that he loves the club, and Puel said it was vital the club retained the services of its best player.

“Of course," he said when asked if he wanted to keep Mahrez.

“My feeling now is just to think about the game about Burnley, but Riyad is one of our best players.

“It's important to continue with him."
