Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson hopes to extend the loan of Manchester United defender Michael Keane.

Pearson wants to extend Keane's loan until the end of the season.

"At the moment, it is a month and we'll explore if there are any possibilities beyond that at another date," he told BBC East Midlands Today. "He is very highly regarded by United and we are very pleased to secure that loan. It will be good experience for him as well. It's an important time for him and he does give us quite a bit of quality."
