Leicester boss Pearson shrugs off Celtic, Burnley talk

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has dismissed talk of him taking the Burnley job.

The 46-year-old has been linked with the vacant Celtic job as well as Brian Laws' position at Burnley but Pearson refuses to be sidetracked from the task in hand after his side moved closer to a top-six finish with a 4-1 home in over Watford on Saturday.

"I am just concentrating on my job here. I have a three-year contract and there are clauses in it. Like any contract, there are different clauses and I don't think anyone needs to know that," said Pearson.

"It (the speculation) doesn't bother me at all. I don't think it is appropriate to be talking about other people's jobs while they are still in them. It is a bit unfair on them. We all have jobs to do and are trying our best to do them."

Pearson added: "We are not quite guaranteed the play-offs but we are in a decent position. We have two games to go and we have to make sure we do what we need to do to get a play-off place."
