Leicester City are being linked with Hull City defender Jack Hobbs.
Hobbs is up for sale, with Nottingham Forest also keen.
"I've been informed that he is on our radar tonight, which is quite interesting. I'm not sure where that came from," Foxes boss Nigel Pearson told the Leicester Mercury.
"He certainly hasn't been on our radar but I think before the window shuts we will have to have a look to see whether (defender) Ignasi Miquel will be fit enough to come back into the squad for the weekend."
