Nigel Pearson is set to be unveiled as Hull City manager next week after deciding to quit Championship rivals Leicester City, reports the Daily Mail. Pearson was offered the post on Saturday night after talks with Hull owner Russell Bartlett and head of football operations Adam Pearson.
He will return to Hull on Monday to thrash out personal terms with the relegated club before being officially confirmed as successor to the sacked Phil Brown.
Hull will have to pay around £400,000 in compensation for Pearson, who has a year left on his Leicester contract.
