Leicester boss Pearson hails Kramaric Premier League preparation

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson is delighted with the impact made by new signing Andrej Kramaric.

Pearson believes the 23-year-old's determination to be a hit in English football will ensure he makes an impact.

"He is a very intelligent player," Pearson told the Leicester Mercury. "He's watched a lot of games on TV - plenty of our games, he has certainly done his homework.

"I suppose like a lot of people on the continent, the Premier League is a big brand and is a competition there is a lot of interest throughout the world.

"I think the Premier League is a very exciting place to play so I'm sure he's seen many games. He's been interested to have a look at a lot of our recent games and that's important as that will help him play with the players he has alongside him.

"He wants to be a success. It's always more beneficial if you bring players in who are keen to play their part and be a success themselves.

"He's very career-minded and driven to succeed. I think that's been evident in his career so far. I'm sure he will play a big part in the rest of our season.

"I'd be delighted if he can continue his goalscoring run he has been on.

"But I'm aware some players need time to adjust."
