Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson remains confident of tying David Nugent to a new deal.
The striker is currently off contract and been linked with a return to Burnley.
But Pearson is hopeful that a new deal for Nugent, the Foxes' top scorer last term, will be concluded "very shortly".
