Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson hailed Esteban Cambiasso's goalscoring performance at Everton.
The Foxes drew 2-2 at Goodison Park on Sunday.
"I thought he was excellent," said Pearson to the Leicester Mercury. "He ran himself into the ground and that's the only reason he came off.
"He indicated he needed to come off. That, in itself, shows experience, the fact that a player can recognise that he is not going to be able to do what he wants to do for the remainder of the game.
"That was disappointing for us because I thought he played very well."
