Leicester boss Ian Holloway is hopeful of signing Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne on loan in time to face Norwich this weekend.
Holloway had hoped to complete the deal last week but it was delayed after Osbourne suffered a dead leg in training.
"I think he is now over his injury and hopefully he will be coming to train with us ahead of Saturday's game," said Holloway.
On the length of the loan deal, Villa boss Martin O'Neill told the Birmingham Mail: "Isaiah would only go for a month and maybe get some games he needs in the time he is away from us."
