Leicester boss Eriksson wants to keep Birmingham, Villa target King

Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson remains hopeful of keeping Andy King.

The young midfielder has been linked with a Premier League move, where Birmingham City and Aston Villa are among clubs keen.

Eriksson praised King for his goal in their draw with Leeds United and then calmed Foxes' fans fears that the Wales international could be on the move in January.

Eriksson said: "I've seen the goal on the video and it was a fantastic strike, very, very good, top class.

"I've heard rumours, but there is nothing concrete, there is nothing on the table. Let's hope it remains like that. We want to keep him."
