Leicester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has revealed his worst moment in football came when England manager.

Eriksson is hoping to take Leicester back into the Premier League.

Asked for his worst time in the game, Eriksson told the Daily Mail: "In a one-off match, being beaten by Northern Ireland with England. We were awful. But losing that quarter-final against Portugal with England in Germany at the World Cup in 2006 was horrible. We all thought that we had a good chance to go further than the last eight and, for me personally, I knew my time with England was over."
