Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare: Apparently everyone's leaving!

Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare admits he's learning to cope with the pressures of the transfer market.

City are understood to have rejected a £7million for Tom Lawrence from Championship side Derby, while Premier League side Brighton are also said to be interested.

As well as Lawrence, Danny Drinkwater has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Demarai Gray has reportedly attracted interest from Tottenham, Everton and Borussia Dortmund.

“It is a new situation for me," said Shakespeare, following his side's 2-1 pre-season defeat at Burton.

“I was driving home last night, thinking I was coming to Burton with only seven or eight players.

“I am hearing that Demarai is going somewhere, I'm hearing Drinky is going somewhere, I'm hearing Tom Lawrence is going somewhere.

“It is for me to stay calm, make sure the players stay focused because, ultimately, until we get a bid and it is accepted, nothing happens.

“Players sign contracts and until someone tells me otherwise, then we carry on as normal. That means turn up on time, train properly, if selected perform to the best of your ability.

“For all the speculation, it is just that until a concrete bid comes in."
