Leicester City have tabled an improved bid for Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani.
The Daily Mail says the Foxes have made an improved £6million offer for Slimani.
The Algeria international, 26, has told Sporting he wishes to leave and play in the Premier League.
Leicester are still hopeful of concluding a deal for free agent midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, 33, also.
