Leicester City have made an improved bid for Mainz striker Shinji Okazaki.

In January, Leicester failed with a €10 million offer for the 29 year-old Japan international.

However, the Foxes have returned to the negotiating table with a new offer of €11.1 million, says Kicker.

Mainz are now willing to sell - but have told Leicester they must wait for Okazaki until the German club have found a replacement.
