Leicester City are offering £1 million for Liverpool fullback Stephen Darby.

The News of the World says the Foxes are ready to offer £1million for the Kop's England Under-19 international, 21, who made his senior debut against Tottenham in January.

But the right-back did play a crucial role in Swindon Town's promotion charge last season which ended in a play-off defeat to Millwall at Wembley.

Nigel Pearson's possible switch to Hull could threaten to derail the bid.
