Leicester City have initiated contract talks with striker Leonardo Ulloa over a new deal, according to the Daily Mail.
The Argentinean, who has only one year left on his current deal, was desperate to leave the Foxes last season due to lack of playing time, which led to him handing in a transfer request in January.
The 30-year-old could make only three league starts last season, but the report claims that Foxes manager Craig Shakespeare still rates him and wants to secure his future at the club.
Ulloa might still depart from the club, but he has reported for pre-season training at King Power Stadium.
