Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie says coach Alberto Zaccheroni deserves the job long-term.
There has been talk of England coach Fabio Capello returning to Turin next season.
Legrottaglie, who was shipped out on loan to Bologna and Siena during Capello's last stint as Bianconeri boss, has made it clear who he wants as his coach next season.
"Capello's possible return to the Juve bench? I keep close to Mr Zaccheroni," said the 33-year-old.
"We will fight for third place. The last 11 league matches will give us what we lacked in recent months.
"In the group we have never had any problems - there were no rifts or divisions.
"When things go wrong, there are always meetings to understand what the problem is."
