Legrottaglie admits Juventus step behind title contenders
Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie admits they're a step behind the major title contenders.
But the veteran isn't worried by the Bari defeat.
“Admittedly, Inter and Milan start the Scudetto race ahead of Juventus now,” said the defender.
“Especially the Rossoneri with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho sent out a signal. Ibra can be the real extra boost for Milan, who can challenge ahead of Juve and Roma.”
The Bianconeri's ambitions took another knock with their opening 1-0 defeat at the Stadio San Nicola.
“The loss in Bari was just a bump in the road that can happen. We need to improve from last season and finish in the top four.
“That is the absolute minimum for a side like Juve. We've also got to do well in the Europa League, hopefully going all the way, but above all qualify for the Champions League.”
