Leganes are swooping for Real Madrid midfielder Oscar Rodriguez.

Oscar is expected to joined Mauricio Pellegrino's Leganes on a season-long loan this week. The midfielder recently penned new terms with Real to 2023.

Pellegrino hopes to close Oscar's signing today so he can join the first team squad for training on Tuesday.

Oscar was born and raised in Talavera, Argentina, the same town where Pellegrino was born.

The youngster has already tasted first team football with Real in the Copa del Rey. He will become the eleventh signing of the summer for Leganes.
